Planet of the Apes: Cataclysm

Here's another great Planet of the Apes cover from Gabriel Hardman for a new ongoing series over at Boom! Studios. I've had some really good luck with getting some GREAT covers to color lately.

Here's the announcement of the series over at Comics Alliance, which you should go check out to see the other covers by some amazing artists. Below is Gabe's cover with my colors. I was thinking of that James Bond Moonraker poster when I picked my color scheme for this one, blue and yellow!

Cap and Namor

Namor's throwing a tank! What more do I have to say? Here's a cover for the Cap & (fill in the blank) series. This was a dream job since I love WWII stuff, and Stuart Immonen's art is always great. Probably one of my favorite things I've done in a while.

Venom!

Hey hey!

Declan Shalvey is drawing an upcoming issue of Rick Remender's Venom. Unfortunately I'm not coloring it, but I did color a Venom drawing he did just for fun. Declan's got it posted in black and white over at the Eclectic Micks blog and below is my color version...

Damn dirty apes...

I love the first 5 Planet of the Apes movies (hated the Burton one, enjoyed the most recent one). I also love Gabriel Hardman and Chris Samnee art. So, the day that I colored two Apes covers drawn by those guys was a really good day. They're for the Planet of the Apes Annual from Boom! Studios (out in August I think).

IT'S A MAD HOUSE! A MAD HOOOOOUSE!

Wonder Woman #9

So, I totally forgot to post about Wonder Woman #9 last week. Whoops! There's a preview of the first 3 pages over at MTV Geek. Below is one of my favorite scenes from the issue (that's his father he's using as his throne, creepy)...

Max Payne 3 comic...

Rockstar Games is releasing the video game Max Payne 3 on May 18th, and they've teamed up with Marvel to make a comic prologue to the game. I am coloring the story, and you can read the first issue for free over on Rockstar's site (click here!)

Here's a few pages from the comic...

The First X-Men...

Here's two covers for a new mini series from Marvel called The First X-Men. iFanboy has them up along with some more info on the series, but I think they're older, placeholder versions. The updated ones are below.
