Secret Avengers #3

Secret Avengers #3 came out yesterday (Apr 11th). It's written by Nick Spencer and drawn by Luke Ross. I think my favorite thing about this book is that the characters are getting different versions of their outfits for different environments. It reminds me of action figures from my childhood.

Secret Avengers #2 (and preview for #3)

Secret Avengers #2 came out while I was too busy to post about it. Making up for that now!

Here's a bunch of pages from issue #2 with bad guys being bad...

 And CBR has an interview up with some preview pages for issue #3. I love the costume changes for when the Secret Avengers have to operate in different environments. In this issue they travel to a cold weather environment and get snow-suit versions of their costumes. It reminds me of playing with action figures as a kid.

Secret Avengers, ending and begining...

I think I missed the release of Secret Avengers #37 while I was on vacation. 37 was the last issue of Rick Remender's run on the book, and Matteo Scalera's last issue as artist.

Secret Avengers is relaunching with a new #1 on Feb 13th. The new writer is Nick Spencer and the artist is Luke Ross. I'll be continuing on as colorist on the series. Here's a preview over on CBR, and below are two pages from the first issue...
