The new issue of Phonogram came out yesterday so I thought I'd post a few pages. Marc, the boy in these pages, is lost in memories/flashbacks of his former girlfriend. Jamie wanted the pages to resemble Polaroids.

Dead Run is a new book from BOOM! Studios. The art is by Francesco Biagini and colored by me. I think Francesco does a great job coloring himself so I tried to marry my style to his and come up with a mixture of the two.

Phonogram Singles Club 2 preview

First 5 pages are up here.

Pages 1-4 are pretty straight forward. In the last panel on page 5 Marc begins reliving memories that took place in the club. Jamie wanted these to have the look of Polaroids and most of the rest of the book stays in these flashbacks.

Jamie McKelvie, the snappiest dresser in London and artist for Phonogram posted this picture on his flickr. It's a still from a show called Big Bang Theory on CBS. I have no idea what the show is about, but I like to imagine that the blond girl just stands there and talks about how cool some of those comics are. Specifically, Phonogram, Gigantic, and The End League that are all featured just to the left of her.

So I haven't posted anything new in a while. I can say it's not my fault, and for the first time in history, that statement is true. Everything I'm working on is still weeks from coming out and the publishers/creators haven't posted any previews online yet.

I've picked pages that shouldn't give anything away. First is from The End League and the second is from Gigantic.
